Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. in San Antonio, TX seeks a Control Room Operator to monitor production facilities, well sites, pipelines, and gas compression units via SCADA.

You will manage alarms, coordinate with field personnel, and produce required reports in support of operations. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1+ year oil & gas experience, plus strong computer, planning, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year Oil and Gas Production experience.
• Must maintain very strong computer skills.
• Time management - Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at one time.
• Must possess excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
• Ability to work 12 hours shifts rotating day and night.
• Capable of making quick decisions under pressure.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Must have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production facilities and well site locations through SCADA system.
