Position Summary/Class Description

Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks is looking for grounds maintenance workers starting March 3, 2009. These are manual labor positions for general landscape maintenance of parks and government buildings. General knowledge of the operation and maintenance of commercial grade mowing equipment preferred. Applicant should have at least 1 years experience and must have a valid class “C” driver's license. This position is non-benefited, 40 hour per week /42 - week positions. Salary $11.00 an hour. Background check is required. Applications must be received by February 6, 2009.
