• Writing and presentation skills; proficiency with MS Office.
• CAD production capabilities.
• Ability to estimate hardware, engineering, software production and testing.
• Prepare and solicit pricing from vendors; evaluate proposals.
• Read P&ID diagrams; understand industrial control design processes.
• Develop field test procedures and pre-written test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process submittals and RFIs; post RFIs and change orders.
• Price, track, and manage change orders; maintain logs and records.
• Maintain as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Submit hours and cost codes; assist in full project estimates.
• Coordinate with field personnel and schedule updates; QA on deliverables.

Responsibilities

Control Engineer 6

1. Processes submittals, RFI's.
2. Posting RFI's and change orders.
3. Pricing, tracking and managing change orders.
4. Identifying change orders and ensuring effective resolution.
5. Maintaining as-built drawings.
6. Documenting project issues/conditions.
7. Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
8. Submitting hours and cost codes.
9. Planning and executing project completion and punch list.
10. Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
11. Submitting O&M manuals.
12. Assisting in development of full estimate.
13. Participate in KPR (Key Project Review).
14. Managing coordination, detailing logs & schedule.
15. Managing schedule updates.
16. Identifying value added solutions & cost savings methods.
17. Instructing field personnel in proper industrial control installation procedures for various equipment.

Qualifications

Experience

1. Master's degree in engineering with 9+ years of experience
2. Bachelor's degree in engineering with 12+ years of experience
3. Ability to demonstrate solid working knowledge of engineeringprinciples, accepted design practices in the North American controls environment
4. Writing and presentation skills, use of common office productivity software
5. CAD production capabilities
6. Ability to estimate hardware, engineering, software production, testing for industrial control system projects
7. Prepare and solicit pricing from prospective vendors
8. Evaluate Vendor proposals
9. The ability to read process & instrumentation diagrams.
10. Understanding of industrial controldesign processes.
11. Understanding of pre-written field test procedures.
12. Ability to develop field test procedures.
13. Experience working with: Microsoft Office, Estimation Software, Oscilloscope, Multi-meter, Various hand tools

Desire

1. Industrial design and evaluation for controlsystems

Pay Range

USD $155,360.00 - USD $233,040.00 /Yr.
