Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support a large DoD program in Ballston, VA. This role requires at least a Secret clearance (TS considered) and a hybrid schedule with one day onsite.

You will cradle-to-grave administer government contracts, negotiate terms, analyze costs and pricing, and maintain essential file documentation in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years cradle-to-grave administration of government contracts.
• Experience administering all contract types: FFP, CPFF, T&M, grants, and OTAs.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, law, or a related field.
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer terms and conditions for government contracts supporting national security.
• Assist in contract negotiations, analyze proposed costs, and evaluate pricing strategies.
• Draft contract modifications with precision.
• Analyze procurement policies to ensure compliance.
• Maintain contract files in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid: 1 day onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Skillfully preparing and administering terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to our national security objectives.
• Collaborating in contract negotiation efforts, analyzing proposed costs, and evaluating pricing strategies.
• Crafting contract modifications with precision and proficiency.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Meticulously preparing and maintaining essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of cradle to grave administration of government contracts.
• Proficiency in administering all contract types including FFP, CPFF, T&M, grants, and OTAs
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, economics, law, or a related field, providing a well-rounded foundation for success.
• Secret or Top Secret clearance

Compensation:

• Annual salary: $130,000 to $160,000, depending on experience
