Responsibilities include overseeing grants and contracts lifecycle, ensuring compliance with export control laws, and guiding staff through complex proposals, certifications, and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in business, accounting, or related field.
• Eight years of experience in proposal development, research compliance, or contract negotiating at a university, government agency, or complex organization.
• Every 30 hours of relevant coursework may be substituted for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Writes, reviews, and negotiates complex contracts and grants for the university.
• Reviews, assembles, and submits complex proposals for the university.
• Delivers guidance on compliance with laws, policies, and regulations in daily operations of contract/grant lifecycle.
• Advises leadership on potential conflicts of interest and time and dispute resolutions.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to finalize representations and certifications, ensuring export control compliance.
