Job summary

LCPtracker, Inc. is hiring a Contracts Attorney (SaaS B2B/B2G) to support the Chief Legal Officer. The role focuses on timely contract execution, risk analysis, and creation of training materials and templates. You will collaborate with internal teams and external clients.

The position is based in part at our New Braunfels, TX or Orange, CA offices with some hybrid work; a strong background in commercial contracts and employment law is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing corporate and commercial contracts.
  • Licensed and in good standing as an attorney in the state of residence.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school.
  • Experience with employment law is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Liaises with internal and external clients on contracts and ensures timely execution.
  • Analyzes and interprets contracts, advising on risks and issues.
  • Prepares training materials and SOPs for the legal team.
  • Oversees contract management systems and templates.
  • Assists with RFP responses and related documentation.
  • Conducts legal research and summarizes findings for stakeholders.
  • Maintains high attention to detail and strong client service orientation.

Position Summary

The Contracts Attorney supports the Chief Legal Officer in legal duties to LCPtracker, performing a variety of legal tasks and work product.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Liaises with internal and external clients on a range of matters, with a strong focus on timely execution of customer contracts.
  • Analyzes and interprets contracts and provides thoughtful legal advice on potential risks and issues.
  • Assists with preparation of training materials and SOP’s.
  • Oversees the contract management system/ databases utilized by the Legal team and assists with general legal files organization.
  • Management of internal legal templates.
  • Implements good practices in contract review, negotiation, and management.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to respond to RFP’s in a timely and organized fashion.
  • Researches, analyzes, and summarizes information from a variety of sources including other departments, government offices, websites, and hard copy files.
  • Works diligently to ensure that both our internal and external clients are satisfied.
  • Assists with other special projects and performs general legal and administrative duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position performs its duties from our New Braunfels, TX, Orange, CA or Fenton, MI office. This position operates in a professional office environment, and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Requirements

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer and multiple screens; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours worked are dependent on business needs and workload. General availability during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, is expected. Based on the candidate and /or position, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered; however, a minimum of three (3) or more days per week in the office is required to support executive collaboration, leadership presence, and cross-functional engagement. Some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

There is no major travel requirement for this position. However, infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat is required. This event is a 2-3-day retreat. Attendance at our annual User Conference as assigned.

Salary Range

The salary range is $120,000-150,000 annually. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
