Job summary

Torc Robotics is seeking a Contract Administrator to manage post-execution contract administration and CMS records. You will partner with Procurement, Legal, and contract owners to track milestones, renewals, and deliverables, ensuring accurate documentation in CMS and compliance with SOPs.

The role requires BS+ 0-3+ years of experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Experience administering or tracking commercial contracts after execution, including monitoring key dates, deliverables, and renewal timelines.
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports and technical documents.
  • Experience using a contract management system (CMS) or similar database/tool to maintain audit-ready records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build trust and relationships, and to prepare reports.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Procurement and contract owners on contract status, tracking, and administration.
  • Route questions involving contract interpretation or legal risk to the Legal Department.
  • Monitor milestones and identify missed deliverables or performance gaps for review.
  • Provide visibility into contracts up for renewal and ensure accurate CMS entry.
  • Support audits and keep documentation organized in CMS.

Meet the Team

The Contract Administratoris responsible forthepost-executioncontract administrationlifecycleand contract management system(CMS)ofthe company.The individualwill work withProcurement, Legal, and the contract ownersas well as the company’s suppliersto ensure that allcontractual obligations are met, modificationstrackedand documents are accounted forwithin CMS.This role reports tothe Director of Finance, with a dotted-line relationshiptothe Legal Department to ensure alignmentoncontract administration standards and escalation practices.

WhatYou’llDo
  • Serveas the firstpointof contactfor Procurement and contract ownersoncontract status, tracking, and administration (e.g., deliverable due dates, renewal timing, document location).
  • Route questions involving contract interpretation, legal risk, or non-standard terms to the Legal Department.
  • Partner with thecontract ownerstotrack contract execution against key milestones.
  • Monitor contract milestonesto confirm completionandidentifypotential missed deliverables or performance gaps; flag any such gaps to the contract owner and Legal forreview.
  • Provide visibility and reporting into contracts coming up for renewal
  • Validatethatfinal,fully-executedcontract(s), amendments, and close-out documentsareaccuratelyrecorded intheContract Management System (CMS)
  • Provide database management and administrative support for the CMS
  • Support audit requests of contracts
  • Understand and applyStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)for administering contracts after execution
  • Supports Procurement as neededand provides administrative support to the Legal Department as directed, including document preparation and status tracking.

  • Demonstrates competences and technicalproficienciestypicallyacquiredthrough BS+ 0-3+ years of experience.
  • Experience administering or tracking commercial contracts after execution (e.g., supplier, vendor, or similar agreements), including monitoring key dates, deliverables, and renewal timelines
  • Experience using a contract management system (CMS) or similar database/document tool tomaintainaccurate, audit-ready records
  • Ability to readandanalyze financial reports and technical documents
