Job summary

A state agency is seeking Contractor Resident Engineers/Clerks of Works to oversee public construction projects in Massachusetts. The successful candidates will document construction activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and assist with quality control. Applicants should have a minimum of a BS/BA degree in Engineering or Architecture, with at least five years of relevant experience. This contract position offers potential extensions and does not allow telework.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS/BA degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Ten years of supervisory construction experience may replace the degree.

Responsibilities

• Monitor public construction projects statewide.
• Document daily construction activities and ensure compliance.
• Assist Designer/Consultant Team with testing and verification.
