Job summary

Radix Metasystems Incorporated seeks a Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) to lead the security program for classified contracts and IR&D efforts. You will interpret security requirements, author PPIPs, and advise program leadership on vulnerabilities and mitigations.

This role requires TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 5+ years of industrial security experience. You will interface with government customers and ensure program protection across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • 5+ years of related industrial security experience.
  • Ability to author PPIPs, Security Plans, SOPs, and manage DD 254s.
  • Strong policy communication with internal leaders and government entities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CPSO for assigned classified contracts and enforce security requirements.
  • Interpret SCGs, issue and manage DD Form 254s, and enforce program security controls.
  • Develop, author, and maintain PPIPs, Security Plans, SOPs, and related security docs.
  • Interface with IC/DoD security representatives and program leadership on risks and mitigations.

This position also provides operational support for Security Administration, Physical Security, and Personnel Security functions.This position has significant independent responsibility and serves as the primary security authority for assigned programs throughout the entire lifecycle. The CPSO independently interprets complex customer requirements, authors Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIPs), advises program leadership, and directly interfaces with government customers.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time salaries position for a highly organized, motivated, and mission-driven individual contributor. This role requires someone with the ability to adapt to changing conditions, while staying focused on objectives and collaborating effectively across teams.Industrial/Program SecurityContract Security Oversight: Serve as the CPSO/Security Lead for assigned classified contracts, interpreting and enforcing Security Classification Guides (SCGs), issuing and interpreting DD Form 254s, and Program-specific security requirements from contract initiation to closeout.Access & Program Protection: Process and maintain Program Access Requests and rosters, and manage classified data protection protocols for program teams and customer interfaces.Program Protection: Develop, author, implement, and update Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIPs), Security Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and associated program security documentation.Proposal Support: Author compliant Security Volumes for proposal efforts and assist Security Leadership in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for program security resources.Customer & Leadership Interface: Interface directly with IC/DoD government Security representatives, Program Managers, and technical leads. Advise leadership on risks, vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and mitigation strategies.Security Education & Training: Prepare and provide tailored Program-specific training and guidance to program staff.Classification Management & Information SecurityClassification & Safeguarding Guidance: Provide expert guidance regarding classification, portion marking, handling, safeguarding, transmission, storage, reproduction, and destruction of classified information and media.Information Screening: Review technical papers, presentations, and program documentation for security and classification requirements prior to dissemination.Incident Management: Investigate and report security incidents, violations, and potential compromises in accordance with customer requirements.Other Security SupportPersonnel Security (PERSEC): Support program access management and serve as the primary operational backup for clearance processing using various IC and DoD systems. Support indoctrinations/debriefings, mandatory reporting, visit management, and other security tasks as needed.Physical Security (PHYSEC): Assist with local access control administration, SCIF/secure area monitoring (ICD 705 standards), secure area opening/closing procedures, and escorting uncleared vendors.Audit & Inspection Assistance: Support the Physical Security POC during routine facility self-inspections, alarm testing, and government security reviews.Primary Location:Radix Metasystems HQ, 325 Inverness Drive South, Englewood, CO 80112Salary Range:The salary and compensation for this position will be determined based on skill level, experience, and education as applicable.
