Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering, LLC is hiring QC Specialists to join its quality control team. You will witness inspections, verify calibration, and ensure compliance with industry codes and customer specifications while acting as a customer representative at supplier and fabrication sites.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and clear reporting, with 2-3 days per week. Ideal for detail-driven professionals who value quality execution and continuous improvement in energy-industry QA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly).
• Familiar with industry standards and codes (API, ASME, ASNT, NACE, DS-1).
• Adequate verbal and written communication to interface with customers and co-workers.
• Basic PC skills and some proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet schedules, including long hours/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per inspection plans and standards.
• Verify inspection equipment is calibrated and meets job requirements.
• Validate technician certification current for scope of activity.
• Generate clear reports documenting inspection results and decisions.
• Promote safe work practices and HSSE objectives.
