Job summary

A local home improvement company in Indianapolis is seeking experienced independent contractors for home repair and remodeling work. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, with compensation ranging from $45 to $50 per hour based on skills. Ideal candidates should have their own tools, a work vehicle, and relevant experience in the trades. Responsibilities include general carpentry, bathroom and kitchen remodels, painting, drywall repair, and more. Candidates must pass a screening process, including a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in the remodeling or home repair trades.
• Must be an independent contractor working off of 1099.
• Must have a current Driver's License and Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry including rough and finish work.
• Undertake bathroom upgrades and remodels.
• Execute kitchen refresh and remodels.
• Provide interior and exterior painting.
• Conduct drywall repair, patching, and caulking.
• Handle minor plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Manage flooring repair and installation.
• Perform general home repairs and maintenance.

Handyman Connection of Carmel is in search of experienced INDEPENDENT Contractors who have expertise in multiple types of home repair, maintenance, and remodeling. Please note that this position is for individuals only; no crews or teams. This is a locally owned and operated Home Improvement Company serving Carmel, Indiana with excellent customer service and quality work.

Requirements

• Must be interested in being an independent contractor working off of 1099.
• Must have current Driver's License and Insurance.
• Must have tools, work vehicle, and good references.
• Must have experience in the remodeling or home repair trades.
• Must pass screening process which includes a background check.
• Must have a smartphone and access to the internet.

What You Will Receive

• $45 to $50 per hour
• Up to $1800 per week depending on skills
