Job summary

Trane Technologies in Cincinnati is seeking a Contracting Project Specialist/Superintendent to lead a portfolio of smaller turnkey projects, coordinating subcontractors, administration, and customer satisfaction. You will manage scope, cost, and schedule while ensuring safety compliance and effective communications with stakeholders.

The role includes on-site responsibilities in Cincinnati, with possible collaboration on larger turnkey projects and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree; Combination of degree or 1-3 years of experience.
• Experience with Project Schedules / PM Construction Software.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates
• Leads all aspects of project administration including, responsibility for maneuvering through governing agencies requirements including the state, city, county, federal and local level, and proactively manages projects to business compliance, project documentation, and safety guidelines
• Validate project scope, cost, schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings and establishing customer expectations
• Utilizes properly qualified subcontractors, awards subcontracts, manages subcontractor execution, and collaborates with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines for project progress, project meetings, billing expectations and project safety.
• Financially manages aspects of projects including according to forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, applied cost, and oversees preparation and communications for monthly backlog review with leaders.

Trane in Cincinnati s hiring a Contracting Project Specialist/Superintendent! The Construction Project Specialist/Superintendent is responsible for execution of smaller turnkey projects including managing of sub contractors, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction. They can take the lead on specific assigned tasks on larger turnkey projects with little oversight.
