Job summary

TransaLink is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have experience in web development and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with knowledge of web design principles and collaboration with graphic designers to create visually appealing websites.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining websites, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring cross-browser/device functionality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other relevant programming languages
• Knowledge of web design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of web development experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects
• Excellent communication skills
