Job summary

Baltimore Humane Society is seeking a licensed veterinarian to provide high-quality surgical care at our Reisterstown, MD facility. This role focuses on spays and neuters for canine and feline patients, including pediatric cases, under the supervision of our Veterinary Medical Director.

Salary is transparency-driven: $60–$70 per hour, with starting pay at the lower end, annual reviews, and opportunities for professional growth as resources allow.

Qualifications

• Must hold Md state veterinary license.
• Experience performing canine/feline spays and neuters, including pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality spays and neuters on canine and feline patients, including pediatric patients.
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based veterinary care in line with Baltimore Humane Society standards.

Hours: Potential Hours: Tuesday-Friday from 9am - 2pm (individual days available)

Salary Transparency & Budget Note: In accordance with Maryland’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is [$60-$70 per hour]. Due to budgetary limitations, starting salaries will be offered at the lower end of the range.
