Job summary

Sun Technologies, Inc. seeks an onsite Designer to create mechanical designs and drawings using NX1980 and Teamcenter, applying ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards. This contract-to-hire role supports TD projects with design and drafting tasks, coordinating with engineering staff to ensure timely, quality deliverables.

Required: 10+ years with NX/Teamcenter, 5+ years as a Designer, ability to produce advanced 3D models and GD&T-compliant 2D drawings, and strong attention to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in NX1980 CAD.
• Extensive experience with Teamcenter data management.
• Strong GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5).
• Ability to create 3D models and 2D drawings to schedule deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical designs and drawings using NX1980 and Teamcenter.
