Ampcus Inc is seeking a Backend-focused Full Stack Java Developer with React experience for an onsite Columbus, OH role. The position emphasizes Java/Spring Boot backend (about 80%) and React/TypeScript frontend (about 20%), within an Agile/Scrum environment.

The ideal candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting. This is a contract-to-hire, W2-only opportunity.

Qualifications

• Need hands-on experience in React.js & TypeScript.
• 5 Years solid backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot
• Balanced full-stack capability (~85% Backend / 25% Frontend)
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), preferably with AI-driven processes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with REST APIs
• Exposure to AWS (Required)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications with a focus on React (frontend) and Java/Spring Boot (backend)
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality solutions within an AI-enabled SDLC environment
• Contribute to systems such as Room Reservations and Internet platforms
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
