Job summary

Summit Staffing, Inc. is seeking General Laborers for Woodridge, IL to support warehouse operations. Cross-training across picking, packing, gift wrap, vinyl, QA, trimming and product personalization will occur.

The position is contract-to-hire, with pay ranging from $15.50 to $18.00 per hour, and shifts available on 1st and 2nd. Candidates should be reliable, able to stand for extended periods, and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, or light manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of production or packing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Excellent attendance, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple roles and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties in various areas including picking, packing, gift wrapping, vinyl, QA, trimming, and hard press operations.
• Support additional production or warehouse functions as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with safety standards.
• Operate basic tools or light machinery for pressing, trimming, or product finishing.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with the team.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet customer and company requirements.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
