Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment in New York. The role involves providing skilled therapy and contributing to care plans within an interdisciplinary team.

The candidate must be an SLP-CCC with current NY licensure or in process, and experience with special needs is preferred. This is a days schedule contract position with responsibilities aligned to physician orders and patient goals.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as an SLP or actively pursuing licensure.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop a care plan for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet speech therapy goals.
• Set realistic goals for patients to develop or recover communication and swallowing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Participate in developing and implementing a plan of care for each patient.
• Assess and adjust treatment plans to achieve communication and swallowing goals.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.
