Contextual Overview

Hire Feed is seeking a Senior General Counsel (Chief Legal Officer) to provide high-level legal oversight for a technology platform operating within the global gig-economy sector. This remote, contract-based role focuses on shaping legal strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management for an AI-driven platform.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years in a senior legal advisory capacity.
• Domain Expertise: Proven experience in corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance within technology or gig-economy platforms.
• Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrated experience advising on AI-related legal issues, including data privacy, intellectual property, and ethical considerations.
• Competencies: Ability to manage cross-border legal matters and translate complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Lead corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and partnership deals.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership regarding emerging risks in AI and the gig-economy.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsel.
• Develop policies ensuring compliance with international data privacy, consumer protection, and employment regulations.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: $90 - $130 per hour.
