STARTING SALARY: $50,460 - $111,087 per year

  • 1st Year Salary $50,460 - $75,059
  • 2nd Year Salary $61,722 - $91,815
  • 3rd Year Salary $74,678 - $111,087
Role Overview

We are seeking driven, high‑performing teammates for the Contract Specialist position, a CIVILIAN role in the Department of the Army as part of the Army Fellows Program. The program is a two‑year fellowship that develops federal civilian expertise and offers a guaranteed placement after completion for qualified fellows.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing procurement plans and coordinating procurement actions with customers and support offices.
  • Assist in determining the appropriate method of procurement.
  • Assist in recommending courses of action with adequate analysis and sound judgment.
  • Respond to queries from organizations and prospective offerors.
  • Monitor compliance and technical information.
  • Assist in administering contracts with a focus on protests, claims, disputes, terminations, contract financing, and bankruptcy priorities.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must be a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution; degree must be completed by June 2026.
  • One year of specialized experience in procurement activities or one full year of graduate‑level education in a related field.
