Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Contracts Specialist to govern carrier and third-party contracts across multiple modes (Ocean, Truckload, Intermodal, Dray, LTL) and related site contracts.

You will manage the contract lifecycle using Evisort, develop dashboards, and ensure accurate terms and rate structures. You will collaborate with Legal and Carrier Management to support SOX compliance, maintain the Transportation Management System data, and drive process improvements in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Process/Program Management, Logistics, Business or Legal.
• 2 to 5 years of logistics experience with contract language/structure understanding.
• Proficient Microsoft Word and Excel capabilities.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages Logistics Contract Lifecycle Management System (Evisort).
• Drafts contracts with business requests and coordinates with Legal for governance and standards.
• Maintains and documents contract terms, expirations, and signatures in the repository.
• Builds and maintains dashboards and reporting in Evisort.
• Keeps rate structures consistent across Carriers/3PLs and RAID teams.
• Supports SOX compliance and audit readiness, including record retention.

As the Logistics Contracts Specialist within the TJX Logistics Carrier Management team, you will be managing the governance and standards of legal documents along with rates for carriers and third-party providers. The legal documents represent a broad range of transportation, such, Ocean, Truckload, Intermodal, Dray and LTL, along with contracts related to our Service Centers, Consolidation/Transload and Yard locations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the development and management of the Logistics Contract Lifecycle Management System, special projects, SOX compliance and maintaining our Transportation Management System (TMS).

• Participates, collaborates and implements short and long-term strategies to support TJX growth and business needs
• Draft contracts pursuant to business requests and works with Legal to ensure governance and standards of legal documents
• Leads and maintains the Contract Lifecycle Management System (Evisort) to ensure all aspects of contracts are prepared for signature and are accurately filed in the document repository.
• Builds and maintains dashboards and reporting in Evisort
• Proactively communicates to Carrier Management Managers the expiration of contract terms
• Maintains DocuSign and actions outstanding contracts with internal and external parties
• Maintains accurate zone coverage and rates in TMS, Blue Yonder
• Resolves issues and discrepancies with rate structures between Carriers/3PLs, GS&P, Freight Pay & Operations (RAID)
• Supports and prepares information for SOX audit and compliance including record retention
• Drafts and maintains SOP’s
• Cross-trains on Carrier Contract Administration, Blue Yonder and Evisort

Who We Are Looking For: You.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience - Process/Program Management, Logistics, Business, Legal preferred
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a logistics role with contract language/structure understanding and exposure
• Proficient Microsoft Word and Excel capabilities
• High level of organization and attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Preferred Transportation regulations understanding & business knowledge
