Job summary

Mozilla is seeking a developer to build and enhance the WebCompat team’s internal tooling, dashboards, and the screenshot pipeline used to triage site breakage. This focused tooling role aims to accelerate WebCompat and make triage more data-driven.

You will create and refine dashboards, improve the screenshot capture pipeline, and work with QA to translate reporting needs into reliable tooling. Strong JS/HTML/CSS and Python/Django skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid web development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Python Django.
• Experience building dashboards and data views.
• Comfort with tooling, automation, and web services.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve WebCompat dashboards (triage, reporting, and metrics).
• Improve the broken-site-report screenshot capture and pipeline.
• Work with the WebCompat team (including QA) to turn reporting and triage needs into reliable tooling.

Required qualifications

• Solid web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python Django) and experience building dashboards / data views.
• Comfort with tooling, automation, and web services.
• Self-directed, with good written communication.

Preferred

• Familiarity with WebCompat workflows and Bugzilla.
• Experience with screenshot / automation pipelines.
• Experience with Machine Learning
