Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Supervisor to oversee SLPA support personnel in a Providence, Rhode Island school setting. Qualifications

• Must meet licensure requirements for speech-language pathology.
• Qualified to supervise SLPA staff and other support personnel.
• Demonstrate competency to evaluate, supervise, and direct SLPA services.
• Maintain accurate documentation of supervisory activities.
• Comply with professional, confidentiality, and District requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff are assigned only duties they are trained and qualified to perform.
• Inform stakeholders when services are provided by support personnel.
• Adhere to licensure laws and regulations governing speech-language pathology.
• Conduct ongoing competency evaluations of SLPA staff.
• Document and regularly record supervisory activities.
• Develop, review, and modify treatment plans implemented by SLPAs under supervision.
• Make appropriate case management decisions for assigned students.
• Fulfill supervisory responsibilities for Speech-Language Pathologists and SLPAs.
• Maintain professional and supervisory standards.
