Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience required.
• Hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven track record building distributed systems using microservices (GraphQL).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design (MS SQL, MySQL…).
• Experience with Hazelcast caching and messaging systems such as ActiveMQ and IBM MQ.
• Experience with Jira, Nexus, Jenkins, Confluence for agile development and CI/CD.
• Experience with integrating with DTCC communication via IBM MQ (ISO 15022 messages).
• Proficiency with GitHub Copilot or Claude for productivity gains.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front Office Java Developer to join our Securities Finance Technology team. This role will focus on designing and building a next generation automated locates platform, a critical component in supporting securities lending operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java-based enterprise applications, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies.
