Job summary

Jefferson Wells, a ManpowerGroup company, is seeking accounting professionals for contract and consulting engagements. Most projects are remote, with some hybrid options and local work in the metro Philadelphia market.

W2 hourly, based on experience and client requirements: $50 – $85 hr. Responsibilities include month-end close, financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and liaising with tax accountants.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with SAP and NetSuite.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Organize and update financial records as needed.
• Analyze transactions and prepare reports.
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy.
• Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins.
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Participate in budgeting processes.
• Brief senior managers on the company’s financial status.
