Applied Materials in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Customer Field Technician II to support assembly, installation preparation, equipment staging, and movement within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This 3- to 6-month contract role offers day shift, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and a hands-on opportunity to work with tooling and documentation.

Candidates with mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and basic measurement devices will thrive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or technical experience.
• Experience using hand tools and basic measurement tools.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and subassembly of equipment and components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Follow engineering drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
• Support equipment installation preparation and site readiness.
• Perform material handling and equipment movement activities.
• Verify component quality and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
