Job summary

Signature Companies seeks experienced Residential Insurance Inspectors to visit property owners in your area and perform interior inspections and high‑value dwelling surveys. At least two years of comparable experience such as a home inspector is required.

As independent contractors, you’ll be paid by the completed report, work through a cloud-based system, and control your own schedule. Most work is in the field, reports are written from home, and inspections must be completed within 21 days.

Qualifications

• At least two years of comparable experience such as a home inspector.
• Prior underwriting experience preferred.
• Prior inspection experience on residential homes.
• Loss control experience preferred.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Must have smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.
• Late model car.

Responsibilities

• Visit properties to conduct interior inspections and high-value dwelling surveys.
• Drive to and conduct the survey, then write up the survey from home.
• Complete and submit reports online; reports are checked for quality.
• Identify underwriting concerns and make recommendations to prevent loss.
• Schedule appointments with homeowners and manage deadlines (under 21 days).
• Utilize a cloud-based system to receive, complete, and forward orders.
