Job summary

Airvet is hiring licensed veterinarians for a part-time, fully remote telemedicine role. You’ll provide video visits and guidance to pet parents from home, with flexible hours and negotiable compensation.

The role requires a valid DVM (or equivalent), 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience, and a US state license. Strong communication, reliability, and proficiency with Google Workspace are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian.
• US state license (preferred licensure in AL, AZ, CA, FL, ID, IN, KS, LA, MA, ME, MO, MS, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TX, VT, and/or VA).
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.
• Proficient with desktop and mobile apps; Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
• Creative, compassionate communicator focused on client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor our portal, conduct scheduled visits, field teletriage requests, and respond to inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
• Conduct video visits about canine and feline health problems.
• Complete follow-ups, including case documentation and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Airvet’s best practices, SLAs, and visit guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and address operational challenges.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support the Care Team.

You will:
