InterHealth Staffing, the for-profit staffing division of Tampa General Hospital, is seeking a Contract Registered Nurse for 6K Pre Post at the TGH Main Campus in Tampa. This on-site, full-time role supports a 6K Pre Post program and offers a pathway to permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

The RN will provide perioperative nursing care, with emphasis on PACU and pre/postoperative settings, requiring Florida RN licensure and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience in ICU/critical care settings required.
• Pre/post-operative PACU experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivers nursing care under supervision and follows established policies.
• Plans and implements care, documents assessments, and communicates goal-directed plans.
• Ensures patient rights and reports situations needing intervention.

Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients. Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal‑directed plan of care; assures patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida

Prior pre and post operative experience preferred

Must have experience working in PACU PreOp setting at a Level I

ICU/critical care experience required

BLS, ACLS and PALS required through American Heart Association
