Wonder is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter for a 3-month contract to tackle hard-to-fill searches across business and business-technology functions, from Manager to Director level. You will partner directly with hiring managers to move critical searches to close.

You will work as an embedded member of our Talent Acquisition team, delivering a polished candidate experience and guiding searches through to offer with speed and credibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (nice to have, not required).
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including Senior Manager and Director-level searches.
• Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders, and advising them on search strategy.
• Track record filling hard-to-fill roles across business functions (finance, accounting, operations) and business-technology (product, design, data).
• Clear, polished communication with hiring managers and candidates.
• Strong sourcing and passive-candidate engagement skills.
• Ability to ramp quickly and own in-flight searches with minimal oversight.
• Experience as an embedded contract recruiter working in Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter.

About The Opportunity

Wonder is looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter for a 3-month contract to take on some of our most difficult, high-priority searches. You'll own hard-to-fill and senior roles, up to Director level, across business and business-technology functions such as product, product design, data and analytics, and finance and accounting, with several searches already in flight. You'll work as an embedded member of our Talent Acquisition team, partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to move critical searches to close.

The Impact You Will Make

Day-to-Day Responsibilities and Activities

• Run assigned searches (Manager through Director) end to end, from intake to signed offer
• Source and engage passive candidates through targeted research and outreach
• Keep candidates engaged and informed with fast, thoughtful communication at every stage
• Prepare interview panels, run debriefs, and keep decisions moving
• Share clear weekly updates with leaders and Talent Acquisition on pipeline, risks, and next steps

Essential Job Duties

• Partner directly with hiring managers to calibrate each role and the profile they need
• Run structured, reliable interview processes that leaders can trust
• Assess candidates for leadership, values, and fit with Wonder's mission and goals
• Keep all candidate activity and search status current in Workday

Initial Focus and Key Deliverables

• In week 1, take over in-flight searches: review pipelines, re-engage strong candidates, and align with each hiring leader on priorities
• Within 30 days, present qualified slates on every assigned search
• By the end of the engagement, close priority hires and hand off each open search with full notes, pipeline status, and market insights

Core Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on the talent market and search approach
• Deliver a polished candidate experience that reflects the Wonder brand
• Move hard-to-fill, business-critical searches forward quickly and independently, including niche roles that sit between business and technology (e.g., inventory data, forecasting, analytics)

What You Bring to the Table

Pay : $40 - $70 per hour
