Job summary

US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a developmental professional aligned to GS-6/7/8 with duties that evolve toward full performance at GS-9. The role involves reviewing contract drawings, serving as liaison for RFIs and submittals, and handling contract payment documents.

At full performance, responsibilities expand to maintaining contract files and overseeing project documentation, with a 10% TDY travel requirement and a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Education: One year of specialized experience in monitoring automated systems to track project timelines, milestones, or suspenses; input or maintain basic project data and financial records.
• Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position.
• Combination of Education and Experience: Compute percentage using months of experience and graduate credits to total 100%.

Responsibilities

• Review new contract drawings and specifications for bid solicitations and contract administration.
• Serve as the Resident Office's liaison between contractor and Government personnel for RFIs, shop drawings and submittals.
• Review payment estimates submitted by contractor and from records in the office.
• Establish and maintain the Office Of Record Contract File (OREC) and the Paperless Contracting File (PCF) for all assigned contracts for the life of the projects.
