Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for Bloomington, IN and surrounding areas. This contract role runs about 3 months with potential for permanent placement based on performance. Expect a typical M-F 8am-5pm schedule and travel between clinics as needed.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring proper storage and transport. Candidates must have valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience,

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
