KLA Industries in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Phlebotomist on a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:30 am–4:30 pm. Pay: $17.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the state
• Minimum of 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data
• Collects and stores specimens according to procedures
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients
• Label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for transport
