Position Overview

HHS is seeking Patient Transporters for full‑time and part‑time positions with day, evening, and night shifts available.

Job Summary

The patient transporter is responsible for transporting patients and patient‑related equipment within the facility contracted with HHS. The role requires cooperation, patience, communication, and teamwork with nursing, medical staff, and all other hospital departments. The transporter must follow strict safety and infection control procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment safely within the hospital
• Work collaboratively with nursing and medical staff to facilitate patient care
• Follow hospital and HHS safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Maintain the Bed Watch Transport Control program to improve operational efficiency
• Pass a background check, E‑Verify, and drug screen

Qualifications

• High‑school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: previous experience in patient transportation, equipment maintenance, or other patient‑care‑related activities
• CPR certification (American Heart Association)
