Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold FL LMHC license with minimum two years’ clinical experience.
• Knowledge of DSM-5, Baker Act laws, Medicaid requirements, and DCF standards.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups or employees.
• Proficient in MS Office and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and treatment concerns at admission and continuously during outpatient treatment.
• Develop treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to each patient.
• Plan and deliver individual and group interventions to support therapeutic goals.
• Document patient status, responses to interventions, and progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, Program Director, and treatment team for multidisciplinary care.
• Review and sign clinical documentation; provide feedback on documentation quality.
• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy as needed.
• Address mental health and substance use issues through targeted interventions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency policies.
