Job summary

Woofie's of Annapolis is seeking experienced independent pet care providers to offer overnight pet sitting. This is an independent contractor engagement and not an employment position, serving neighborhoods around Annapolis, MD.

Overnight stays pay a fixed per-stay fee, typically 50–60+ USD per 24-hour period, with opportunities for varied assignments. Applicants should have 3+ years of pet care experience, be comfortable with dogs and/or cats of different temperaments, and be willing to host

• Comfortable caring for dogs and/or cats of various sizes.
• Background check is completed as part of client safety standards; CPR/First Aid is optional.
• Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes; not an employee of Woofie's of Annapolis.
• 18+ with a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Overnight stays in your own home or the pet’s home.
• Provide feeding, potty breaks, and companionship.
• Administer medications if requested by client.
• Maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment.
• Send daily updates and photos through the Woofie's app.
• Coordinate directly with Woofie's on booking availability and support.

Future Opening: Contract Opportunity / Annapolis In-Home Overnight Pet Sitters

Do you love animals and enjoy quiet, cozy nights with furry companions? Woofie's of Annapolis is contracting with experienced, qualified independent pet care providers to offer overnight pet sitting. This is an independent contractor engagement (rather than an employment position).

This is a rewarding opportunity for college students, freelancers, stay-at-home parents, active retirees, or anyone in the Annapolis area who already has experience caring for pets and has availability and has availability to provide overnight pet sitting services to new clients.

Overnight stays are paid as a per-stay fee on a fixed fee schedule — visit fees are approximately $50 to $60+ per 24-hour period, depending on the assignment and client needs.

• Caring for pets overnight in your own pet-safe home
• Providing feeding, potty breaks, and companionship
• Administering medications when the client requests it
• Maintaining a calm, clean, and safe environment
• Sending daily updates and photos through our easy-to-use app
• Coordinating directly with Woofie's on booking availability and support

Please note: All instructions pertaining to care, feeding, supplies, routines, and medical needs come directly from the client, not from Woofie's.

• A responsible, trustworthy pet care provider living in Annapolis (21401 or 21403 zip codes)
• Must be experienced and qualified — 3+ years of pet sitting or animal care experience
• Comfortable caring for dogs and/or cats of various sizes and temperaments in your home
• A pet-safe home, and willing to host a site visit as part of our client safety standards
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
• 18+ with a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and smartphone
• A background check is completed as part of our client safety standards; we'll go over the details during the interview
• Independent contractors are responsible for their own professional development and any certifications they choose to maintain, including CPR/First Aid

• Availability for holidays or last-minute bookings
