Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a contract Neuropsychologist to join its Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity, offering neuropsychological assessments for ADHD, autism, and learning differences in both in-person and virtual settings. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and deliver detailed reports, feedback, and tailored recommendations.

This contract role supports flexible scheduling and a data-driven, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• 1-year predoctoral internship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred.
• 2-year postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology preferred.
• Equivalent experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Licensed in California or New York preferred.
• PSYPACT authorized or PSYPACT eligible preferred.
• Experience conducting testing virtually and in person.
• Familiarity with online web-based applications.
• Effective therapeutic communication skills.
• Able to deliver care virtually or in person from own office space.
• Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for clients of all ages, in collaboration with families and collateral sources.
• Interpret a wide variety of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, with occasional direct test administration.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in neuropsychological assessments.
• Supervise the patient’s psychometrist to ensure accurate data collection.
• Complete detailed evaluation reports and prepare client/family brief summaries.
• Conduct feedback sessions explaining findings, diagnoses, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the care team to inform and coordinate treatment planning.
• Deliver in-person and virtual sessions with patients and families.
