Job summary

Colorado Village Collaborative is seeking a Mental Health Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide group and individual therapy to unhoused individuals in Denver under a contract through 12/31/2026.

The role requires trauma-informed care, flexibility, and the ability to switch between intervention models. This contractor position carries no benefits but may be extended beyond 2026 depending on funding.

Qualifications

• LCSW or LPC preferred; may pursue licensure.
• Must be registered with DORA.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Experience with unhoused population preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to anti-oppression and social justice.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and individual therapy to unhoused population.
• Facilitate individual and group process.
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral interventions as needed.
• Responsible for treatment, collateral contacts, and treatment planning and client record management for an assigned caseload.
• Maintain awareness of policies/procedures, emergent issues, and safety plans.
• Address emergent issues including documentation and treatment plan revisions.
• Discharge planning to promote continuity of care.
