Job summary

Kinetic Personnel Group seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer II to support manufacturing operations, optimize existing processes, and facilitate the transfer of new products from R&D to production. The role requires hands-on engineering in a biopharmaceutical setting and coordination across development and manufacturing teams.

The candidate will act as SME for processes, drive improvements, develop SOPs and validation docs, and collaborate with Manufacturing and R&D to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• 3–8 years of manufacturing or product development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and project execution skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Experience with technology transfers and lab/process-scale equipment preferred.
• Able to work cross-functionally in cleanroom and lab environments.

Responsibilities

Our client specializes in biopharmaceutical products and systems used in life science manufacturing. We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer II to support manufacturing operations, improve existing processes, and facilitate the transfer of new products from R&D to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for existing and new manufacturing processes.
• Support new product transfers from development to manufacturing.
• Identify and implement process improvements and corrective actions through root cause analysis.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, equipment validation documentation, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and R&D to resolve process and quality issues.
• Lead process improvement projects and evaluate emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• 3–8 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or product development.
• Proven project execution and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience with technology transfers, laboratory or process-scale equipment, and biopharmaceutical products or devices preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in cleanroom and laboratory environments.

Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and work around mechanical equipment, vibration, and noise.

Location: Compton, CA

Contract Duration: November 9, 2026 – May 7, 2027

Schedule: Onsite Monday–Thursday, remote Friday (subject to change based on business needs)
