Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Contract Manager for the Military Medical Product Management Support Program to support a government contract at Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD. The role oversees a multidisciplinary team and ensures delivery of medical solutions for service members’ health.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), PMP and DAU certifications, and substantial DoD/USG contract experience; travel to CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for has a potential need for a Contract Manager - Military Medical Product Management Support Program to provide support for our government customer in Frederick, MD at Fort Detrick Army Base.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Program Management Support within Force Health Protection (FHP) for a Medical Product Management and Support Services contract.
• Manage a diversified team of medical and technical advisors, logistics, financial and administrative staff, and product managers.
• Providing qualified personnel for all positions.
• Supporting the full range of administrative, technical and professional disciplines necessary to perform the work.
• Provide services to support all aspects of the mission to develop and deliver quality medical solutions to protect, treat, diagnose, and sustain the health of service members.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Must have minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or other relevant field.
• Master's degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or other relevant field – highly desired.
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, or other formal project/program management training/certification – highly desired.
• Defense Acquisition University certifications – highly desired.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years' experience supporting in program/contract management, with minimum of five (5) year' directly overseeing DoD and/or other Federal Government contracts in areas of Medical Product Development, Medical Supply Logistics, Clinical Research, etc.
• Army or Air Force medical logistician or nurse – highly desired.
• Military medical person with medical operations experience supporting deployed forces – highly desired.
• Must have experience supporting contracts with 20-50% CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, born or naturalized; for the purposes of this work Visa and GreenCard holders do not qualify and will not be considered.
• Must be able to eligible to receive a Secret Clearance.
