About the Family & Social Services Administration (FSSA):
FSSA was established by the Indiana General Assembly in 1991 to consolidate and better integrate the delivery of human services by state government. FSSA is a health care and social services funding agency. Ninety-four percent of the agency’s total budget is paid to thousands of service providers ranging from major medical centers to a physical therapist working with a child or adult with a developmental disability. The seven care divisions in FSSA administer services to more than 1.5 million Hoosiers. FSSA’s mission is to compassionately serve Hoosiers of all ages and connect them with social services, health care and their communities.
Role Overview:
The role manages the daily activities concerned with contracts for purchase of materials, projects, or services. In this role, you will prepare and review contract documents and agreements for acceptability of items to specifications and assist assigned program area with methods of payment, standard language, and all other contract related language. Your role consults and educates the program areas on current state contracting processes and the use of the necessary required forms needed to produce an accurate on time contractual document. You will prepare documents for signature approval, which includes final review and editing of contracts and other standard documents, assuring all contracts meet established quality levels and conform to requirements set out by FSSA and other outside reviewing agencies.
The ideal candidate will have seven (7) years work experience in program coordination; development; implementation; or accredited college training in a related field. This role also requires strong ability to provide professional, timely and effective customer service to contract related internal and external customers.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work.
