Job summary
HOPEWELL STAFFING is sourcing candidates for a CONTRACT LVN in the LUBBOCK, TX area.
Highly complex vocational nursing work involves care, treatment, and the general welfare of individuals with medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs. The LVN will perform routine and complex nursing tasks, collect lab specimens, and conduct health screenings under state regulations. Start date is TBD.
Qualifications
- Licensed LVN in Texas or with reciprocal license.
- Willing to work 40 hours per week on various shifts.
- Experience with complex medical/behavioral health care.
- Ability to instruct direct support professionals.
Responsibilities
- Care, treatment and welfare of individuals with medical/mental/behavioral health needs.
- Collect specimens for lab work and perform health screenings.
- Instruct DSPs and other staff to provide care that meets medical needs.
- Perform nursing procedures according to facility and state regulations.
