Job summary

Nurses Direct is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for home health care in Lafayette, Louisiana. The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process in patient care, manage nursing team resources, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications

Job Duties

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.

Requirements

• LPN License of State in which intend to work or Compact License
• 1 year experience in Home Health setting as LPN (Minimum)
• 2 year experience in Home Health setting as LPN (Preferred)
• Local or travel accepted
• Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance
• HCHB EMR experience
• CPR / BLS certification
