Job summary

Starlight Sports Inc. in Oceanside, CA, is offering a contracted position in Live Broadcast / Sports / TV News / Technical Operations.

You’ll operate an elevated camera to capture continuous game film for families, players, and college coaches, with events running 8–12 hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities include setup/breakdown, following the ball, coordinating with the on-site Event Director, and covering 5–7 games per day.

Qualifications

• Comfort operating a camcorder (you don't need to own gear).
• Familiarity with lacrosse or another field sport to anticipate play.
• Physically able to carry and set up equipment outdoors for a full day in heat and light rain.
• Reliable transportation to the venue.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down equipment.
• Film full games continuously from an elevated position, panning and tilting from a ground-level control handle.
• Follow the ball and keep the full field in frame for recruiting and coaching use.
• Coordinate with the on-site Event Director on field assignments and schedule changes.
• Cover 5-7 games per day (each game lasts 50 minutes).
