Job summary

ECI Group in Houston is seeking an IT Project Manager for a 4-month contract starting Sept 14, 2026, to deliver the Crude Data Exchange Phase 2 under Shell standards.

You will lead Azure Databricks data platform delivery, migrate legacy data, manage risks and governance, and coordinate Shell staff, partners and vendors. The role requires senior stakeholder engagement across Crude Trading, Operations, Risk, Finance and Technology, with strong delivery and Python API experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering programmes with large budgets and multi-team delivery.
• Expertise in Crude & Products trading environments and ETRM platforms.
• Experience migrating data assets to cloud platforms and modernising data warehouses.
• Strong governance, risk, and stakeholder management across business and technology groups.
• Proven Agile programme delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Experience defining scope, roadmap, dependencies and delivering business value.
• API development using Python (OOP).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Crude Data Exchange Phase 2 within time, cost, quality, risk and benefits objectives.
• Lead delivery of Azure Databricks-based data platform, with ODS, curated views, and reporting workstreams.
• Migrate legacy crude trading data from WONA DW to the cloud platform and modernise data assets.
• Analyse risks, dependencies and variances across teams and vendors.
• Engage senior stakeholders across Crude Trading, Ops, Risk, Finance and Tech to align priorities.
• Develop and execute delivery, change and engagement plans for new capabilities.
• Mobilise multidisciplinary teams across Shell staff, partners and vendors.
• Ensure alignment between requirements, data domains, architecture and delivery.
• Manage governance, financials, RAID, scope, resourcing and benefits realization.
• Ensure capabilities are operable and provide measurable business value.
