Job summary

ECI Group is seeking a contract IT Project Manager in Houston to lead the Crude Data Exchange Phase 2 programme. The role covers Azure Databricks platform delivery, data migration from WONA Data Warehouse, and cross-functional leadership to align business and technology outcomes.

You will manage multi-location teams, governance, and benefits realization, ensuring value delivery within Shell standards and controls.

Qualifications

Experience delivering projects up to $10m+ budget with 50+ resources.
Deep knowledge of trading data domains: trades, risk, P&L, settlements, market data.
Proven delivery of Databricks and Azure cloud-based data platforms.
Led enterprise data migration, data warehouse modernization, and cloud transformations.
Strong senior stakeholder management across business and technology groups.
Agile programme delivery across multiple engineering/data teams.
Ability to define programme scope/roadmap, dependencies, outcomes, and communicate value.
Experience API development using Python as OOP.

Responsibilities

Agree and deliver the Crude Data Exchange Phase 2 programme within time, cost, quality, risk and benefits.
Lead delivery of the Azure Databricks-based data platform including data views, reporting and data products.
Migrate legacy crude trading data from WONA DW to the cloud platform.
Analyse risks, dependencies and variances affecting programme delivery across teams.
Engage senior stakeholders across Crude Trading, Operations, Risk, Finance and Tech to align priorities.
