Job summary

Dane Street is expanding its physician panel to support Texas Contra-Affidavit and expert witness requests. This is a contract-based role for independent reviewers (1099) who can work flexibly around their schedule.

Physicians with Texas license and board certification will review medical records, address clinical questions, assess medical necessity, CPT coding, and usual and customary charges, and may provide deposition-ready testimony.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas medical license and state medical board certification.
• Experience reviewing medical records and determining clinical necessity is essential.
• Familiarity with CPT codes and Texas fee schedules is required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and address clinical questions.
• Assess medical necessity and usual and customary charges for services.
• Support counter-affidavit process and be available for deposition/testimony.
