Job summary

ALOIS Solutions seeks a hardware test engineer for a 12-month contract with potential for extension. You will support bring-up, testing, verification, and characterization of analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and PMIC systems.

Responsibilities include designing and debugging test hardware, loading boards and test software, and performing data-driven yield improvements. Experience with bench automation and lab instruments is essential; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital, analog, mixed-signal, RF, and PMIC circuits.
  • Experience with semiconductor/ASIC characterization, hardware testing, and data analysis.
  • Hands-on bench test automation experience; Teradyne iFlex/uFlex or Advantest 93 ATE a plus.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, Six Sigma/SPC, quality and reliability testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support hardware bring-up, testing, verification, and characterization of analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and PMIC systems.
  • Design/debug test hardware, load boards, test software, and HW/SW integration.
  • Perform ASIC/PMIC characterization, data analysis, failure analysis, and yield improvement.
  • Develop test automation using Python, VB, or Perl and work with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test time, yield, quality, and reliability.
