Job summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA, Inc.) is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer for a contract assignment with a regulatory client in the DMV area.

You will own end-to-end features from UI to API and data, building new capabilities while integrating with existing platforms. The role focuses on greenfield workflow capabilities, cross-system integration, and incremental migration, with AI tooling to raise throughput.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack experience across UI and backend with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience designing and building APIs/interfaces between distinct systems.
• Ability to work with data sources, event patterns, and legacy integrations.

Responsibilities

• Build greenfield workflow capabilities — triage, intelligent assignment, disposition, and handoff flows — from UX through backend, with production-grade rigor.
• Integrate across the ecosystem — define interfaces to data/query layers, catalogs, case-management, and legacy systems.
• Do integration discovery — reverse‑engineer existing systems and map dependencies to build interface contracts.
• Support incremental migration — coexistence of old and new systems with adapters and routing.
• Leverage AI tooling — use AI-assisted development to raise throughput and quality.
• Collaborate across disciplines — work with product, data science, UX, and domain/business partners.
