Job summary

ADC LTD NM is seeking a 1099-Contract Investigator to conduct federal background investigations on a contract basis in support of national security and suitability investigations. This role involves field interviews, retrieval of records, and the production of ROIs in compliance with all laws, federal standards, and agency regulations.

You will accept fieldwork assignments across the geographic area, with TDY opportunities outside the area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork, including interviews and retrieval of records to produce ROIs in compliance with laws and federal standards.
• Accept fieldwork assignments for travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility; TDY assignments possible outside area.
• Meet investigative deadlines as assigned by ADC LTD NM.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills and maintain professional demeanor in a time-sensitive environment.
• Monitor, maintain, convey and destroy data and documents per government and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with ADC employees and contractors; report trends and updates from the field.
